WCLC 2026 | TROP2-high tumors are associated with cold immune signatures

Jessy Deshane, PhD, the University of Alabama at Birmingham, Birmingham, AL, shares insights into TROP2 expression and the tumor microenvironment from a paired spatial transcriptomic and proteomic mapping study in non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) tissue. TROP2-high tumors were found to be cold immune environments, highlighting the potential for TROP-directed antibody-drug conjugates (ADCs) for these patients. This interview took place at the IASLC 2026 World Conference on Lung Cancer congress in Seoul, Republic of Korea.
