Andrew Oar, MBBS, Icon Cancer Centre, Southport, Australia, highlights the significance of the AGITG MASTERPLAN trial (ACTRN12619000409178), where there is great potential in combining stereotactic body radiation therapy (SBRT) with chemotherapy. There is also promise of combining SBRT with KRAS inhibitors in earlier stages of disease. The interplay between SBRT and KRAS inhibitors could lead to improved outcomes in patients with metastatic pancreatic cancer. This interview took place at the European Society for Medical Oncology (ESMO) 2026 Congress in Madrid, Spain.
