Dr Merad notes that her group, among others, is working on identifying an inflammatory signature that could be used as a biomarker of risk, which could help identify people who would benefit from immunoprevention strategies. This interview took place at the European Society for Medical Oncology (ESMO) 2026 Congress in Madrid, Spain.
