ELCC 2019 | Low-dose CT lung cancer screening: strengths and limitations

Yeol Kim, MD, PhD, National Cancer Center, Gyeonggi, Republic of Korea, speaks at the European Lung Cancer Congress (ELCC) 2019, held in Geneva, Switzerland. Dr Kim highlights the importance of low-dose CT screening in the early detection and treatment of lung cancer. However, he also addresses the current limitations of low-dose CT and stresses the need to overcome these for the method to become routinely implemented in clinical settings.
