ITOC 2020 | Novel strategies: enabling T-cell therapy using exercise

Per Thor Straten, PhD, Department of Immunology and Microbiology, University of Copenhagen, Denmark, discusses a novel strategy to enable T-cell therapy using a combination of immunotherapy and exercise. Accumulating data has found exercise to mobilize immune T-cells and NK-cells to the tumor site, which is waiting to be substantiated in a two-arm clinical trial in lung cancer patients. This interview took place during the 7th Immunotherapy of Cancer Conference (ITOC) 2020.
