BTOG 2021 | Impact of COVID-19 on lung cancer diagnosis and outcomes in the UK

David Baldwin, MD, FRCP, University of Nottingham, Nottingham, UK, discusses the impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic on the treatment and management of patients with lung cancer in the UK, highlighting an increased prevalence of later-stage lung cancer due to later diagnosis, accompanied by poorer survival outcomes. Prof. Baldwin also comments on the importance of practices which improve early diagnosis. This interview took place during the 19th British Thoracic Oncology Group (BTOG) Annual Conference 2021.
