WCLC 2016 | The World Conference on Lung Cancer 2016

Robert Pirker, MD at the Medical University of Vienna, Austria, and President of the World Conference on Lung Cancer (WCLC16) talks about the themes and objectives of the conference. WCLC is a multidisciplinary conference on lung cancer organised by International Association for the Study of Lung Cancer (IASLC). It is attended by more than 6,000 specialists from around the world with the aim of sharing knowledge, disseminating advances in research and fostering cooperation and dialogue among multiple disciplines. This year’s conference was centred around the themes of active prevention, accurate diagnosis, and advanced care.
