EAU 2021 | Current state of prostate cancer screening in Europe

Peter Albers, MD, University of Düsseldorf, Düsseldorf, Germany, gives an overview of the current status of prostate cancer screening in Europe. Prof Albers comments on the opportunistic approach to screening which is currently employed and talks on the potential benefits of risk-adapted prostate cancer screening, highlighting findings of the European Randomized study of Screening for Prostate Cancer (ERSPC).
