ASCO 2022: Updates in Genitourinary Cancer

The American Society of Clinical Oncology Annual Meeting 2022 brought together thousands of experts in oncology to hear new data and discuss how to improve the diagnosis and treatment of patients with cancer.

In this podcast, we hear from some of the leading experts in genitourinary cancer, as they discuss the biggest trials and hot topics from the meeting. For prostate cancer, we hear from Prof. Arun Azad who explains the evolution of standard of care for patients with metastatic hormone-sensitive prostate cancer, Prof. Andrew Armstrong who gives us an update on the ARCHES trial, Dr Anis Hamid who discusses the use of circulating tumor cells in prostate cancer, Dr Clara Hwang who discusses how to overcome racial disparities in prostate cancer treatment, and Prof. Scott Tagawa and Dr Andrei Gafita discuss the use of PSMA-targeted radioligand therapies for prostate cancer, including updates from the VISION trial. For kidney cancer, we caught up with Dr Pavlos Msaouel about the results of a Phase I/II trial of sitravatinib and nivolumab in patients with clear cell renal cell carcinoma, as well as the key unmet needs in kidney cancer.
