Claus Andrup Kristensen, MD, PhD, Rigshospitalet, Copenhagen, Denmark, discusses primary results from the Phase IIb TACTI-003 trial (NCT04811027) of eftilagimod alpha plus pembrolizumab versus pembrolizumab alone in first-line recurrent/metastatic head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSCC) with CPS ≥1. Findings indicate addition of eftilagimod alpha showed numerically higher objective response and disease control rates, especially in patients with CPS ≥20, while maintaining a manageable safety profile. This interview took place at the European Society for Medical Oncology (ESMO) 2024 Congress in Barcelona, Spain.
