Aslı Doğa Munzur, BSc, Vancouver Prostate Centre, Vancouver, Canada, discusses an exploratory post-hoc analysis from the TheraP study (NCT03392428), assessing clonal hematopoiesis in patients with metastatic castration-resistant prostate cancer (mCRPC) treated with either 177Lu-PSMA-617 or cabazitaxel. Findings suggest 177Lu-PSMA-617 was associated with a higher frequency of newly acquired clonal hematopoiesis mutations, particularly in DNA damage repair genes. These results raise important considerations regarding the hematologic impact of radioligand therapy as it moves into earlier treatment settings for prostate cancer. This interview took place during the 2025 American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO) Meeting in Chicago, IL.
