ANZUP 2023 | Addressing sexual function issues in patients with genitourinary cancer

Haryana Dhillon, PhD, University of Sydney, Sydney, Australia, comments on providing support for patients with genitourinary cancer whose sex lives may have been impacted as a result of diagnosis and treatment. Communication issues may arise between the patient and healthcare providers, and asking for consent to discuss such issues and the patient’s experience is essential.
