The standard for molecular screening is tissue biopsies, however in cases where results cannot be obtained from this, a liquid biopsy could be used as an alternative. This interview took place at the European Society for Medical Oncology (ESMO) Gastrointestinal Cancer 2026 Congress in Munich, Germany.
