APCCC 2024 | Findings from the Lancet Commission on prostate cancer

Nick James, MBBS, PhD, FRCP, FRCR, Institute of Cancer Research, London, UK, gives an overview of findings from the Lancet Commission on prostate cancer, which prospectively identified future issues relating to prostate cancer. A majority of cases, which are forecasted to double in the next decade, will occur in low and middle income countries, where a large proportion of the population is young with a higher life expectancy. Improvements in early diagnosis are needed to identify patients with prostate cancer. This interview took place at the 2024 Advanced Prostate Cancer Consensus Conference (APCCC) in Lugano, Switzerland.
