EBCC 2024 | How can clinicians personalize breast cancer treatment for patients?

Shelley Potter, MBChB, PhD, University of Bristol, Bristol, UK, advises on how clinicians may personalize treatments for patients with breast cancer. Most de-escalation studies are focused on reducing radiotherapy in breast cancer treatment, despite patients expressing greater concern over receiving chemotherapy, endocrine therapy and surgery. Inclusion of patient opinion in research design ensures efficient, patient-focused research. This interview took place at the 14th European Breast Cancer Conference (EBCC) in Milan, Italy.
