Denis Migliorini, MD, University of Geneva, Geneva, Switzerland, discusses the development of two new clinical cell products targeting overexpressed peptides in glioblastoma (GBM). Dr Migliorini highlights the potential of a CAR-T therapy based on the RNA-based technology targeting PTPRZ1, a phosphatase receptor, and a secreted molecule from the extracellular matrix, which can be targeted by CAR-Ts, and notes that disrupting the interaction between these two molecules may further inhibit the invasiveness of the tumor. This interview took place at the EHA-EBMT 7th European CAR T-cell Meeting in Strasbourg, France.
