ASCO 2025 | JAVELIN Bladder Medley: avelumab & sacituzumab govitecan in urothelial carcinoma

Jacqueline Brown, MD, Emory University School of Medicine, Atlanta, GA, gives an overview of an interim analysis from the JAVELIN Bladder Medley trial (NCT05327530), comparing avelumab plus sacituzumab govitecan to avelumab monotherapy as first-line maintenance in advanced urothelial carcinoma. In patients without progression after platinum-based chemotherapy, the combination therapy showed improved progression-free survival. Safety events were more frequent with the combination, aligning with known drug profiles. This interview took place during the 2025 American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO) Meeting in Chicago, IL.
