Lorenza Rimassa, MD, IRCCS Humanitas Research Hospital, Milan, Italy, comments on the ongoing Phase IIIb SIERRA trial (NCT05883644) investigating the STRIDE regimen (durvalumab plus tremeliumab) in patients excluded from the Phase III HIMALAYA (NCT03298451) trial, including those with Eastern Cooperative Oncology Group performance status two, main portal vein thrombosis, and Child-Pugh liver cirrhosis. This trial aims to expand the eligibility criteria for the STRIDE regimen in clinical practice. The results of this trial will be crucial in determining the potential for widespread adoption of the STRIDE regimen.
