ESMO 2018 | We need to represent more women in leadership positions in oncology

Recognizing the need for women to be more represented in senior roles in oncology, Marina Garassino, MD, of the National Cancer Institute of Milan, Milan, Italy, offers the solution to this by establishing a program in Italy that is totally dedicated to educating women, from teaching leadership to communication skills. Greatly innovative and potentially ground-breaking, Dr Garassino’s program ultimately aims to create the leaders of tomorrow by training them today.
