Yufei Wang, PhD, Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, Boston, MA, discusses the use of an anti-CAIX Immune Restoring (IR) CAR-T cell in an orthotopic humanized NSG-SGM3 mouse model. This approach displays superior antitumor activity and reverses the immunosuppressive tumor microenvironment in a humanized clear cell renal carcinoma mouse model.
