Massimo Lazzeri, MD, PhD, Humanitas University, Milan, Italy, comments on the significance of discovering germline mutations in patients with high risk of bladder cancer. These findings might have an impact on the management of patients with these mutations, noting that certain patients in this high-risk subset carry pathogenic or likely pathogenic or virus-like variants. This interview took place at the ASCO GU Cancers Symposium 2025 in San Francisco, CA.
