Julian Hong, MD, MS, University of California, San Francisco, CA, discusses the use of artificial intelligence (AI) to improve the design and practice of clinical trials. Possible applications include increasing enrollment on trials, identifying topics which clinical trials could investigate, risk-stratifying patients, and improving therapeutic decisions.
