Julian Hong, MD, MS, University of California, San Francisco, CA, discusses the potential applications of artificial intelligence (AI) in cancer care. AI can use existing health records to inform and improve care delivery, in terms of early referrals and symptom identification, as well as being used for the reviewing of imaging results and general efficiency in the clinic. This interview took place at the American Society for Radiation Oncology (ASTRO) 2022 Congress in San Antonio, Tx.
