ESMO GI 2026 | Phase I study of ART-123, FOLFOX and bevacizumab in mCRC

Eli Gabayan, MD, Beverly Hills Cancer Center, Beverly Hills, CA, describes findings from a Phase I study (NCT05251727) evaluating ART-123, a recombinant soluble thrombomodulin, in combination with FOLFOX plus bevacizumab for metastatic colorectal cancer, with separate cohorts for patients with resected versus intact primary tumors. Across dose levels tested, ART-123 was safe and well tolerated, with low rates of bleeding events, none assessed as treatment related. This interview took place at the European Society for Medical Oncology (ESMO) Gastrointestinal Cancer 2026 Congress in Munich, Germany.
