ESMO 2020 | Lung ART trial updates from ESMO 2020

Sanjay Popat, BSc, MBBS, FRCP, PhD, The Royal Marsden NHS Foundation Trust, London, UK, summarizes the key findings of the Lung ART trial (NCT00410683) which investigated postoperative conformal radiotherapy (PORT) in patients with completely resected non-small-cell lung cancer (NSCLC) and mediastinal N2 involvement. Treatment using adjuvant PORT was associated with a non-statistically significant 15% increase in disease-free survival (DFS).
