Susan Halabi, PhD, FSCT, FASA, FASCO, Duke Cancer Institute, Durham, NC, discusses the adoption of ctDNA assays into treatment decisions for metastatic castrate-resistance prostate cancer (mCRPC). Dr Halabi highlights that the model developed from the Alliance A031201 trial (NCT01949337) requires external validation using real-world data before it can be implemented into clinical practice. This interview took place during the 2026 American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO) Meeting in Chicago, IL.
