Jennifer Rachel Eads, MD, Abramson Cancer Center, University of Pennsylvania, Philadelphia, PA, discusses strategies to overcome adverse events related to immunotherapy in patients with colorectal cancer. Whilst immunotherapy is less cytotoxic than most chemotherapies, side effects can still be severe. Steroids are typically administered to manage adverse events, with the aim rechallenge in patients.
