Tolga Tuncer, MD, University of Kansas Medical Center, Kansas City, KS, presents initial analysis of TVI-AST-008 (NCT05685004), evaluating adoptive neoantigen-specific T-cell immunotherapy for MGMT-unmethylated (MGMT-u) glioblastoma. Tumor cells are primed in vivo and expanded ex vivo, allowing patients to avoid immune-suppressing chemoradiotherapy. Results show a good safety profile with no ICANS or neurotoxicity reported, and the therapy has received FDA Orphan Product designation, which provides support for further studies. This interview took place during the 2026 American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO) Meeting in Chicago, IL.
