ASCO GI 2026 | KEYNOTE-937: adjuvant pembro for pts with HCC after surgical resection/local ablation

Stephen Lam Chan, MD, FRCP, Chinese University of Hong Kong, Hong Kong, China, discusses findings from the KEYNOTE-937 study (NCT03867084), which evaluated adjuvant pembrolizumab for participants with hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) and complete radiologic response after surgical resection or local ablation. Adjuvant pembrolizumab versus placebo did not demonstrate improvement in relapse-free survival in patients with HCC after surgical resection or local ablation. This interview took place at the 2026 American Society of Clinical Oncology Gastrointestinal Cancers Symposium in San Francisco, CA.
