GU Cancers 2025 | What role will MET inhibitors have in managing papillary renal cancer?

Francesca Jackson-Spence, MBChB, Barts Cancer Centre, London, UK, describes the current state of personalized combination therapies for papillary renal cancer. While findings from the CALYPSO study (NCT02819596) are promising, further confirmation is needed from Phase III trials before MET can be used in practice as a biomarker for selecting the best therapy for individual patients. This interview took place at the ASCO GU Cancers Symposium 2025 in San Francisco, CA.
