WCLC 2026 | AMIGO-1: pemetrexed, amivantamab and lazertinib in metastatic EGFRm NSCLC

William William Jr., MD, Oncoclínicas, São Paulo, Brazil, shares findings from the single-arm AMIGO-1 (NCT05299125) study examining treatment intensification with pemetrexed, amivantamab and lazertinib in patients with metastatic EGRR-mutated (EGFRm) non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC). The 18-month progression-free survival rate of around 66% was improved compared with a historical control of osimertinib alone and was numerically higher than in the MARIPOSA (NCT04487080) trial of amivantamab and lazertinib. The triplet showed a higher rate of toxicities, however this was reduced by the introduction of a cap of 8 cycles of pemetrexed. This interview took place at the IASLC 2026 World Conference on Lung Cancer congress in Seoul, Republic of Korea.
