UKONS 2023 | Delivering standardized acute oncology education with the CASCADE project

Verna Lavender, PhD, Guy’s and St Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust, London, UK, gives an overview of the Creation of Acute oncology Standardized Competence Assessment Documents and their Evaluation (CASCADE) project, which aims to provide competency assessment passports for a various healthcare professionals to enhance training in the acute oncology setting. With the help of the UK Acute Oncology Society (UKAOS) and charities, the project aims to standardize online learning with competency tests. This interview took place at UK Oncology Nursing Society (UKONS) Annual Conference 2023 in Newport, UK.
