WCLC 2026 | Zidesamtinib in TKI-naïve patients with ROS1+ NSCLC: insights from the ARROS-1 trial

Alexander Drilon, MD, Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, New York, NY, explores results from the tyrosine kinase inhibitor (TKI)-naïve cohort of the ARROS-1 (NCT05118789) trial, evaluating zidesamtinib in patients with ROS1-positive non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC). The objective response rate was found to be 94% and the complete response rate was 15%. Zidesamtinib showed promising central nervous system (CNS) activity, with all 10 patients with prior CNS metastasis showing an intracranial response and 7 patients experiencing an intracranial complete response. Most treatment-emergent adverse events were low grade, and dose reduction or discontinuation due to these was 12% and 4% respectively. This interview took place at the IASLC 2026 World Conference on Lung Cancer congress in Seoul, Republic of Korea.
