Nir Peled, MD, PhD, Sackler Faculty of Medicine, Tel Aviv University, Israel, shares his thoughts on the updates in early-stage lung cancer presented at WCLC 2021. Prof. Peled believes that a greater emphasis on studies investigating targeted therapy in early disease is needed. The use is liquid biopsies will likely become of increasing importance for personalizing treatment pathways.
