ESMO Sarcoma and Rare Cancers 2023 | Promoting international collaboration in cardiac tumor research

Dr Robert Cusimano, MD, FRCSC, University of Toronto, Toronto, Canada, discusses the significance of the annual Toronto Cardiac Tumor Conference and the ‘INTERACT’ project in establishing partnership amongst the leading cardiac tumor experts worldwide. The Toronto Cardiac Tumor Conference is an annual summit held in January, while the ‘INTERACT’ project aims to establish an international registry of cardiac tumors through which molecular comparisons may be deduced. This interview took place at the 2023 ESMO annual Sarcoma and Rare Cancers congress in Lugano, Switzerland.
