Catherine Alix-Panabieres, PhD, University Medical Center of Montpellier, Montpellier, France, summarises the recent updates on the utility of two circulating biomarkers; Dr Shannon Stott’s research on how to detect exosomes and their role in the metastatic cascade and Dr Valerie Taly’s sensitive method for detecting circulating tumor DNA (ctDNA) with digital PCR. This interview took place at the American Association for Cancer Research (AACR) Annual Meeting 2022 in New Orleans, LA.
