ASCO 2025 | Gastrointestinal cancer trials to watch out for at ASCO 2025

Yelena Janjigian, MD, Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, New York, NY, gives an overview of important trials in gastrointestinal cancer, including the ATOMIC trial (NCT02912559) of standard chemotherapy alone or combined with atezolizumab as adjuvant therapy in stage III colon cancer and deficient mismatch repair. Additional studies of note include gastric cancer trials assessing trastuzumab deruxtecan in the second line and claudin-targeting T-cell therapies. This interview took place during the 2025 American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO) Meeting in Chicago, IL.
