WCLC 2024 | Streamlining clinical trial protocols by measuring time toxicity
Amanda Herrmann, MD, University of California San Diego, La Jolla, CA, discusses the future of measuring time toxicity in lung cancer clinical trials. In a retrospective study, Time Toxicity Units (TTUs) were used to quantify time toxicity and prospective studies are planned to assess their utility in future trials. TTUs may, in the future, further inform clinicians and trial sponsors the needs of patients. This interview took place at the 2024 World Conference on Lung Cancer (WCLC) in San Diego, CA.
