ASCO 2026 | Advances in TIL therapy for melanoma and solid tumors highlighted at ASCO 2026

Omid Hamid, MD, of The Angeles Clinic and Research Institute, discusses emerging advances in tumor-infiltrating lymphocyte (TIL) therapy for melanoma and other solid tumors presented at ASCO 2026, including IL-15–enhanced TIL approaches designed to reduce toxicity while maintaining high response rates. Dr Hamid also highlights expanding applications of TIL therapy in traditionally immunotherapy-resistant tumors. This interview took place during the 2026 American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO) Meeting in Chicago, IL.
