ECCO 2017 | Discussion on cost and access to treatment at ECCO 2017

Peter Naredi, MD, PhD of University of Gothenburg, Gothenburg, Sweden talks about how the ECCO 2017 congress is addressing the issue of of cost and access to cancer treatment in Europe. Prof. Naredi explains that they are having session on health economics and points out that the role of patients in these discussions is becoming very important. Further, there are abstracts on drug availability and cost and at the critical review sessions, there will be discussion on this topic. Innovation is another important part of this discussion as Prof. Naredi explains.
