ECCO 2017 | How ECCO is helping to improve cancer outcomes

Peter Naredi, MD, PhD of University of Gothenburg, Gothenburg, Sweden discusses how ECCO is working towards improving cancer outcomes. Prof. Naredi believes that ECCO is helping improve knowledge of cancer, diagnostics and treatment as well as knowledge of the long-term effects of treatment. Further, he highlights that the organization is aware of the inequalities across Europe in terms of treatment and outcomes and that they are trying to address this issue.
