Toni Choueiri, MD, Dana Farber Cancer Institute, Boston, MA, discusses the integration of ctDNA and tissue genomic profiling and the use of liquid biopsy in renal cell carcinoma (RCC). RCC has a very low level of DNA-shedding so the development of high-specificity liquid biopsy is a promising development in the diagnosis of RCC. This interview took place at the International Society of Liquid Biopsy (ISLB) 2021 Virtual Meeting.
