Xiangqian Zheng, PhD, MD, Tianjin Medical University Cancer Hospital, Tianjin, China, discusses recent research advances in thyroid carcinomas, which traditionally demonstrated low sensitivity to chemotherapy and radiotherapy. Surgical developments have enabled enhanced preservation of nerves and organs, and novel endoscopic techniques have improved quality of life in patients. This interview took place at the 2025 Chinese Anti-Cancer Association (CACA) Science & Technology Award Talks in Kunming, China.
