SABCS 2024 | Evaluating organ-specific responses to ADCs in metastatic breast cancer
Neelima Vidula, MD, Massachusetts General Hospital, Boston, MA, comments a retrospective analysis of organ site-specific responses to sacituzumab govitecan and trastuzumab deruxtecan in metastatic breast cancer. Variations in response rates across organ sites such as lung, brain, liver, and bone, were confirmed, highlighting differences in progression and objective response rates. Ongoing efforts include correlating tissue biomarker expression and cell-free DNA genomics to uncover resistance mechanisms by organ site. This interview took place at the 2024 San Antonio Breast Cancer Symposium (SABCS) congress in San Antonio, TX.
