Apar Ganti, MD, University of Nebraska Medical Center, Omaha, NE presents real-word data of atezolizumab- and durvalumab-containing first-line induction and maintenance regimens in extensive-stage small cell lung cancer (SCLC). Median overall survival was found to be lower in real-world data than in the trial data, which is in-line with other agents that show poorer real-world outcomes compared with those observed in clinical trials. Prof. Ganti highlights that there does not appear to be any difference between atezolizumab and durvalumab in real-world data. This interview took place during the 2026 American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO) Meeting in Chicago, IL.
