Chel Hun Choi, MD, Samsung Medical Center, Seoul, South Korea, discusses the next steps in evaluating durvalumab and BVAC-C in patients with HPV 16- or 18-positive cervical cancer following the promising results of the Phase I/IIa study (NCT04800978). Further study will include a larger multi-phase clinical trial to confirm the promising results of this study. Additionally, this trial will explore efficacy across different patient subgroups, including those who have failed previous immune checkpoint inhibitors.
