ASCO 2024 | Next steps in evaluating durvalumab and BVAC-C for HPV-positive cervical cancer
Chel Hun Choi, MD, Samsung Medical Center, Seoul, South Korea, discusses the next steps in evaluating durvalumab and BVAC-C in patients with HPV 16- or 18-positive cervical cancer following the promising results of the Phase I/IIa study (NCT04800978). Further study will include a larger multi-phase clinical trial to confirm the promising results of this study. Additionally, this trial will explore efficacy across different patient subgroups, including those who have failed previous immune checkpoint inhibitors. This interview took place during the 2024 American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO) Meeting in Chicago, IL.
