Terence Friedlander, MD, University of California, San Francisco, CA, explores the current and emerging antibody-drug conjugates (ADCs) targeting HER2 in advanced bladder cancer. While the approval of sacituzumab govitecan was withdrawn following the negative TROPiCS-04 (NCT04527991) trial, trastuzumab deruxtecan remains available for HER2-positive tumors. Disitamab vedotin has also shown promising data and is now being studied in combination with pembrolizumab in the US and toripalimab in China. This interview took place at the ASCO GU Cancers Symposium 2025 in San Francisco, CA.
