BCC 2021 | The CoMPaS exponential growth model: predicting tumor growth and recurrence

Ella Tyuryumina, MSc, BSc, National Research University Higher School of Economics, Moscow, Russia, discusses the clinical benefits of an exponential growth model that predicts primary tumor growth and secondary distant metastases growth. The CoMPaS model has been developed to calculate growth rates and recurrence periods of primary tumors and secondary metastases. Therefore, CoMPaS can aid oncologists with subtyping and staging of tumors, calculates a patients’ prognosis, and predict recurrence. This interview took place during the 17th St. Gallen International Breast Cancer Conference.
