WCLC 2024 | Disparities in access to lung cancer screening in Europe

Kevin ten Haaf, PhD, Erasmus University Medical Center, Rotterdam, Netherlands, gives an overview of disparities in access to lung cancer screening in Europe. Unlike in America, where racial and ethic disparities are the main focus, there is more focus on individuals with a lower health literacy in Europe in order to give everyone an informed choice in terms of lung cancer screening. This interview took place at the 2024 World Conference on Lung Cancer (WCLC) in San Diego, CA.
