Wolfgang Fendler, MD, University Hospital Essen, Essen, Germany, discusses the results of a study assessing the prognostic value of Prostate Specific Membrane Antigen Positron-Emission-Tomography (PSMA-PET) in prostate cancer across 1500 patients. Findings from PSMA-PET are significantly associated with overall survival, and when combined into nomograms, they can accurately define and separate groups of high-risk and low-risk patients. This interview took place during the 2024 American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO) Meeting in Chicago, IL.
